He has been the owner of several successful software development companies, 2 of which were acquired by other firms. After being acquired by Digital Controls, Mark served as Vice President in their web software division for several years. Currently he is the owner and principal consultant of WebSoft Solutions, an Oracle and Open Source consulting and development company. Some of his accomplishments include, Speeway SuperAmerica's first ever e-commerce solution, the first online reverse auction for US Bank, Business Intelligence and SOA solutions for a 20 Billion dollar company known as C and S wholesale. Mark is passionate about developing solutions that solve real world problems using agile and rapid development methodologies, which he has successfully done on dozens of projects. Oracle sponsors him every year for seminars and workshops in order to educate their clients on successful leveraging of their Oracle investment using agile and rapid development methods.
